Weight Loss Seminar- A Success

The Malta Exercise Health and Fitness Association organised a Weight Loss Seminar on the 11th and 12th July 2009. All the general public was invited to attend. Fitness instructors and personal trainers attended the workshop held on the 12th July. The fitness workshop included sample workouts of Les Mills programs by our guest trainer from the Netherlands Anita Mullen
Body Attack- a high/low sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina.
Body Combat: a fiercely energetic cardio/ endurance program inspired by various martial arts disciplines
Body Balance: a body/mind workout including yoga, tai chi and pilates movements that builds flexibility and strength.
We had to accept the first 60 who booked to attend. We are sorry we had to turn down the rest of the bookings. For this purpose we will most likely organise another seminar towards the last two weeks of September where we will also open MEHFA memberships ( for our activity classes and swimming pool) for Scholastic Year October 2009 up to May 2010
We thank the general public, fitness instructors and mostly our sponsors who made this event possible.
MEHFA will continue to work for more people more active more often and for low cost fitness as much as the professional development of all fitness instructors so that ultimately the public will get the best service.
